The K. K. Handique State University (Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University, KKHSOU) is an open university in Guwahati, Assam, India (with jurisdiction over the state of Assam). It was established in 1995, but did not start functioning fully until 2006. KKHSOU offers both undergraduate and diploma/certificate programmes, as well as a Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) to groom aspiring learners for graduate study.

The K. K. Handique State University web site seems sporadically available, casting some question as to its present state of operation.
