Virtual Campus for A Sustainable EuropeFrom Researching Virtual Initiatives in EducationThe Virtual Campus for A Sustainable Europe (VCSE) was selected to participate in the the Erasmus Virtual Campuses in 2006. It is co-funded under the eLearning 2006 Program (2007-2009), European Commission, DG Education and Culture, Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). According to its own project description, VCSE is based on two pillars: reinforcing the role of virtual mobility for teachers and students, and specialized e-learning courses and workshops for representatives of local, regional and national governance (decision-makers) and social partners (opinion-creators).
