In 2003 UVB Campus (Campus UVB; Rede Brasileira de Ensino a Distânci, or Instituto Universidade Virtual Brasileira) was founded by a group of 6 major private institutions in Brazil. It was designed to offer a new model of education, with a distance learning focus. To date, more than 10,000 students have graduated from UVB courses.

The scene of trends is of increasing interatividade, with application of resources multimedia in audio, video, simulation and virtual reality. Campus UVB will be, therefore, the door of entrance for this new world of the education.
