Maryland is a state in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It borders Pennsylvania to the north, Delaware to the east, and Virginia, West Virginia and the Washington DC to the south and west The population of Maryland is 5.7 million as of 2010. The state capital is Annapolis and its largest city is Baltimore. Maryland is known as Old Line State.
