The South Carolina Virtual School Program (SCVSP) was piloted in 2006 by US state of South Carolina's Department of Education.

It had 17,100 course enrollments in 2009-10, at the high school level.

Its goal is to provide rigorous online courses to help increase the on-time graduation rate throughout the state. SCVSP is a part-time supplemental programme that works with existing diploma-granting public, private and home schools. It provides access to content recovery programmes for students who have not, or are not likely to, received credit for a course previously taken (i.e. credit recovery).

The South Carolina Virtual School Program web site is at http://scvspconnect.ed.sc.gov/.
